New customers have been flocking to Marco’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria from all over the area after the restaurant was recently featured in Local Marketplace magazine.
“Thank you Local Marketplace magazine; you made me a superstar,” said Marco Sardi, who owns and operates the Marietta restaurant with his family. “I had never anticipated the warm reception and amazement from my customers that I got with this ad campaign…and I’m getting business counterparts calling me now asking how they can get into this magazine and who to contact. What a home run this was!”
Marco received an overwhelming response to his $10 off promotion in Local Marketplace and welcomed many new customers from the Elizabethtown and Mount Joy areas. His employees also received positive feedback directly since they were each mentioned in the article, which was a positive morale booster for the entire staff.
“I’ve had about 15-20 customers ask me to autograph my cover story feature in Local Marketplace. I have never had anyone ask me for my autograph! You’ve made me a celebrity!” Marco said.“ I’ve been doing this business and marketing the restaurant for a long time and tried a lot of different advertising. I have never received a response that strong from an advertisement…EVER!”
